Here are a few pictures of my son who is 8 years old building his first H4 Hornet quadcopter. He wired it and everything and I just helped soldering the power cable to the bullet and Deans connectors. He took it outside and flew it and he was so proud of himself. He was even more excited when we went inside after the flight and I told him that it was his. Sometimes you just have to let them fly even if they are a little young. LOL.
His build has 4 scorpion 1050 KV motors with the Gaui 330X 10 amp esc's and the Gaui 330X main board. It runs on a 3300 mAh lipo and is controlled with the DX6 Spectrum. This little Hornet is a rocket ship! It took of and flew wild because of it's light weight and 12x4.5 slow fly propellers.
He flew it perfectly 2 times and didn't crash. A few close calls because he was learning the stick reaction time. I set his controller up for training mode so he would not have to worry about doing tricks yet.
