Motors stopped mid flight

Hi,

I have finished building my own drone a while ago and have had 20+ flights with this quadcopter. I have a Naza v2 flight controller and it's working great, only today something strange happened...

I was flying my drone for 1-2 minutes and in mid air the motors stopped spinning. I wasn't doing anything on the transmitter at the time just hovering.

-GPS mode, blinks were green so the satellite connection was solid.
-I wasn't more then 20 meters in the air and max 10 meters away from the drone.
-Batteries charged before flight, should be able to power up the drone for 15-20min.
(also it blinks rapid red if it's nearly empty which it wasn't doing)
-No camera or gimbal attached.

My question is any idea how that could happen? I'm sure all connections are solid as I double checked it. Also the battery was still attached after the crash and when I rebooted everything seemed to work fine (couldn't fly because of the damage, but all motors were spinning).

I have no idea how it could have happened, any idea's? Thanks in advance.

I had one do that before my fcb went out. I also had that happen before a pdb went out. Also had one where the 5vt plug into the transmitter was working its way loose so it would randomly drop and the take off. You could take the props off and fly it to see it will happen a again. Intermittant problems are the worst and most difficult to pinpoint.

Did take the props off and started it. Everything seemed to work fine (also did this right after the crash to see if anything was loose). I can't fly it because the frame is broken...

Unfortunately you will probably have to fix it up and take it out for a flight. If is still drops at random and you cannot trace the problem back or pattern what you were doing when it drops to a common likely issue or catch a power loss while its occurring you will have to guess at parts. Start with the cheapest part first.
