Motors and Propeller choosing guide

Hi friends,

I want to make a quadcopter of weight 1.5-2 kgs weight approx. And I am Thinking of using the following motors and propellers. I wanna know if it is enough..

Also i Want to know why some motors cost so much? Is it because of the difference in technology or is there any more advantages?
 
Hi mate the motors are to fast for 10x4.5 props as they go over 1000kv the props size should get smaller , so look for up to 1000kv on the 10x 4.7 prop
I did look at the spec and I know it says it ok but I had 1200kv on a quad of your weight and flight time was 3mins on a 2200mah , so your going to need a very big battery like a 5200mah 3 cell to get any sort of flight time and that battery is not light

Thank you for replying. One question what is the estimated Fight time of the Motors you suggested?
Also what's the difference between the motor you suggested and the one i am using? Any preference with what propellers I should use?
 
Hi mate use this to work out flight times www.ecalc.com , this will let you try different set ups , normal a low KV with big props give you a better flight time FPV quads and long flight for 500+ size , High kv small props give you a short flight but fast 250 racing quads 5 mins race time 2300kv and a 1300mah 4 cell , if you look at the DJI phantom it has 950kv motors 2200mah 3 cell battery and will fly for 15 mins
