Motors and ESCs ?

I'm new to this hobby and starting to build some FPV quads. I have a general questions about motors. What are some of the general guidelines to follow when matching motors to ESCs. KV and ampere rating foir instance. I'm starting to stock my bench with a few common components and want to be sure I'm not overlooking anything critical. My next projects is the Blackout Mini H Quad , and I also have an Eachine Racer 250 on the shelf (that's a pretty much self-contained kit though).

A frame will have recommended motor size. Look at the data sheet for the battery cell count, and props that you want to run to figure out the amp draw. Get the esc that will handle the amp draw.
