Motor power for go pro camera

I am building a quad using a carbon fibre frame 280g, I'm not sure what motors I should use, I'm going to climb mountains so I need it to be able to climb high altitude. What power do I need ?
 
HI mate you need to look at a low kv with big props these are heavy lift I run 650kv with 14x5.5 props will lift a lot
 
Hi mate all quads will climb till the air is so thin it cant support the weight of the quad ,It will then just bounce up and down as if looses lift and get lift back again here watch my mate video on clouds and cows this will give you an idea of how high it will go

Oh I see so no matter what quad it will go up high , what kv motor do you think I need
 
Hi mate well that depends on how long you want it to fly for how fast , what is it going to be carrying whats its over weight ( flight weight inc battery)
