micro quadcopter not responding

Hi,

I'm very new to this forum and someone I know told me to ask here for my problem.

my micro quadcopter was working fine but after a few months of not using, the drone itself is not responding. the charger works because of the red light.

the details of the micro quadcopter
-Micro Quadcopter compact drone and controller combo
- purchased from RED5 which is now menkind and the type is most likely not manufactured anymore.

unfortunately, it's not allowing me to upload a file with pictures.

message me for any more questions about the quad.

Hi if it's a micro drone I would think it's a single cell battery , first you need to check the battery is fully charged in the quad and in the transmitter , it hard for us to advise without not seeing the quad , battery, charger etc
 
hi, it is a micro quad and I'm sure its a single cell battery. there isn't any light coming from the drone when it's charging.

unfortunately, it isn't allowing me to upload any pictures or files because they're are too large.

If using Android there is a "photoresizer" app that works pretty well and just ad supported I used for resizing images to share here.
 
Regarding the main issue without soldering skills and or a voltmeter and some knowledge of how to use both it's very hard to just guess at electrical problems. Mechanical issues are easier to debug based on symptoms or effects but if no power need to use a voltmeter to trace from where there is power until where there isn't.
 
Following from what my friend said if your using a pc go into photo edit and just reduce its size then save it ,now post saved photo
