MASSIVE CONFUSION - wierd things happening with ardu2.5

Does anyone have any ideas to get me out of the massive hole im in trying to set up my quad? Ive tried to summarise the problems in 3 points.

1. Currently it arms by setting the right stick low and the left stick right (The opposite to what it says online). So it thinks throttle is right.

2. I can arm it like this but the motors dont turn at all.. I think this might be because I calibrated the motors using the throttle on the left and it worked.. So the motors think the throttle is on the left and the FC thinks its on the right??

3. I could only calibrate my ESC's using CH2.. Maybe the settings are messed up and I actually calibrated the motors with something other than the throttle? Im so confused..

Are you using mode 1 or 2? You can swap the channels, change settings in the Tx, or a few other options. You just have to identify the problem. What transmitter are you using, can you give a link?

Hi, Im using the turnigy9x in mode 2.. I just managed to set my tx to mode 2 and recalibrate my ESC's.. Now the problem is that I cant arm the quadcopter with my tx, only manually through arduPilot.. And when I arm, I the motors still dont move..

I think ill try re-doing the wizard on ardupilot next.. I just plug the tx inputs onto 1-4 on the arduilot inputs and each esc into 1-4 on the outputs right?

Check that your receiver is plugged in correctly. Changing modes would have changed how it will arm.

Hi, Ive managed to get my quadcopter working but only when I arm via flight controller... If I try to arm via the remote it dosent work.. Is there a possibility that the min throttle is not being picked up? Im so close :( Not sure what else it could be

You may have to adjust the throttle ranges, take a look at the raw stick values see where they are. Also throttle could be trimmed too high.
