Looking to design SaR platform, help?

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast..."
Hey guys, I'm looking to design a aerial search and rescue quad/hex optimized for flight time. Looking for advise on how to decide on frame size, motor size, battery size. Looking to maximize flight time, not looking for speed or extreme maneuverability. Docile flight, carrying a camera and xmitter, such as a gopro or smaller board style cam. Considering eagle tree vector for flight controller...

Anyone want to jump in with ideas? Many thanks. I'm not totally new to RC flight, just to quads..

Take a look at longrangerc.com They make some S&R platforms. But if you want to do a search and rescue setup a bogger slower moving multirotor with GPS and a FLIR camera is probably what you need.

What type of price range do you have for this build?
I'll take a look at that link, thanks. Budget is less of a concern, as basically, the more it costs, the longer I'll take building it..lol

I think a slow and incredibly stable drone with flir and GPS would be amazing.

I'd love to be a Drone S&R pilot. would feel great.
