Hello I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to set this up and sync it with an HobbyKing 6channel remote. I've tried looking on YouTube it got me close but no cigar. I am building this quadcopter for a physics class assignment and we really don't have a clue. I've gotten to the point where you hold down the 1st and 4th buttons to test the motors and that's about it. As soon as I let go of the buttons nothing happens..

Hi mate the button hold is for the esc calibration ( this must be done with no props fitted) , so what you do is turn on the transmitter put throttle to full ,then hold down buttons 1 and 4 while they are held down plug in the battery for the quad ( if you can get some one to do it for you makes it easy) the escs will bleep now lower the throttle to zero the escs will bleep ,thats it all done , also make sure when you calibrate the sensors the quad is 100% level as this tell the self level what level is
Did you go into the monitor screen and trim the transmitter as all channels read zero and move the right way ( aux channel will never read zero as this is just a switch channel )
I think your have to use the PC to sub trim the transmitter so all the channels in the KK monitor screen reads zero
