Kk2.1 control board keaps restarting

When I try to arm the board, it just beeps, the screen goes blank and it starts up again displaying the hardware and firmware versions then continuing to the screen that says SAFE on the top. When I try to calibrate the ESCs, (turn the throttle up and turn on the board while holding the first and last buttons) it repeatedly restarts when the throttle is up, and says "throttle pass-through" when I turn the throttle down.

I looked in receiver test and everything is at zero and changes when I move the corresponding sticks on the transmitter. In sensor test, it says OK for all the sensors. I tried factory resetting it but it didn't work.

I have a 30c 11.1v Lipo battery and 30 amp ESCs. I've read that it gets power from the ESC plugged into the first port on the kk board. I've tried plugging different ESCs into it (I know it won't fly that way) but it doesn't fix it.

Alright, interesting... List how you are arming it. Is it consistent or does it seem kinda random timing after you arm it?

It restarts right after I move the throttle stick down and to the right to arm it. It doesn't even get to the ARMED screen.

When the board restarts, the screen doesn't fully turn off. It still glows but it just goes blank and starts up again.

I have worked with arduino boards before and they tend to do something similar when there not getting enough current. Maybe the ESCs are drawing to much current away from the board when I try to arm it or calibrate the ESCs.

Do you have a way to test the current supplied to the ESC? Try changing the battery if you have another, it may have a sag problem. You could also use a 5v supply to do the board and RX independently to test it.

Hi mate the throttle stick must be at zero when you plug in battery to quad, then move rudder right to arm , not saying this is the problem, but the kk does strange things if the transmitter is not right set up

Or you could just try the battery in another quad. I had a similar problem (Not with RC or LiPos) where the battery tested great with no load and dropped to almost 0 when you tried to draw any current.

It works!
some of the ESC pins on the board were faulty so i set it to x8 copter and plugged the ESCs into 1 4 5 and 8. after setting the pi-gains, it worked.

Hi go back to where you got it form and get a replacement due to its fault it may get worse not better with time , then it will be to late to get it replaced

Be ready too get a video of it. You should be able to contact them through chat on their website, but I like to also open a claim on pay-pal too. They probably will give you store credits.
