Building my first drone and so far the only real question I have, is if it's possible to get autopilot functions out of the kiss fc board. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Equipment:
Arris xspeed 280
Kiss FC
Kiss PDB
24A kiss ESC's
Emax RS2205 2300kv
FrSky D4R-II
Crazepony DALRC QOSD v1.5 with GPS
BitEye FPV camera
Dragonfly 5.8G 40ch 200mw FPV Tx

Yeah I wanted functions such as returning to where it took off if it loses your signal, requires GPS. It looks like kiss fc doesn't support that. Is there a similarly sized alternative?

No problem with the PDB but the ESCs get tricky. You can use the Kiss ESCs with those boards, but they use Clean flight or Betaflight but Kiss is closed-source so you have no ability for passthrough to calibrate the ESCs through BLHeli (to my knowledge anyway) which is really a non-issue anyway as Kiss ESCs are nonprogrammable.

I already have the parts may as well try it all out ;) Definitely going to shy away from the kiss fc, the downloads for the GUI don't support linux, and I intend to use rasberry pi to do my configuring. I appreciate all the information! I'll post pics on this thread later. This is my first build.
