Hey guys, this is my preview of the Kai Deng K70F FPV quadcopter. Right now, it is available on Hobbywow. For more information, check out the link:

To start off, I'll list it's main selling points. Here they are:
- Altitude hold is included on this bird. Being an FPV quadcopter, the barometer to maintain altitude should be very useful, and it should help the quadcopter get better video stability. Altitude hold is also a big help for beginners, as they can learn how to control pitch and yaw without additionally being responsible for adjusting the throttle. The one drawback is that altitude hold can not be turned off, which restricts how sporty you can get while flying.
- Headless mode and one key return are both included. Although a lot of quadcopters have these modes, many of them do not work well. I guess we will see about that later. For beginners, I recommend only using headless mode at the beginning stages of learning how to fly, so you do not become dependent on it. The one key return will likely not be very accurate, since this is not a GPS drone. However, one key return and headless mode are included, if you wish to utilize them.
- There are quite a few LED lights in each arm, compared to most quads only having one on each arm. The multitude of LED lights should make this a good night flier as well as a bird that is easily identifiable when it is in low battery mode. The lights also make it look really cool, too.
- It seems to be a pretty well engineered model. It is large and has decent heft to it, meaning it should easily be able to fight the wind, even at high altitudes. This weight means it has quite powerful motors and lifting power, leading me to believe one could mount a gopro on it without much difficulty. It looks very cool and comes in a few neat themes, such as Spider-Man or Captain America.
- All of the reviews I have read on this quadcopter lead me to believe that it is a very stable yet maneuverable drone. Even though it is a 350 sized quadcopter, it is stated to have excellent speed in high rates. Obviously, it would not be fast enough to be a FPV racer, but it definitely seems to have more sport flying ability then other quadcopters of the same size and price.
- The camera comes with a gimbal! Although it is just a one axis gimbal, it can tilt from 0 to 90 degrees downwards. This is pretty neat, as most toy grade quadcopters do not come with any sort of gimbal. This setup should also reduce vibrations in the video, as well as help to eliminate jello. The camera included looks to be a decent quality, 720p 2 MP 5.8 GHZ FPV module, with an included SD card and reader to record your aerial video.
- The battery, a 7.4 volt 1800 mAh 2s Lipo, seems to be a little small for the size of the drone. However, it gives decent run times. The controller is average, but it does come with an FPV monitor. This is great, so you can get good range and FPV quality, especially compared to wifi FPV models.
- Overall, this quadcopter has the potential to become a popular model. The only drawbacks seem to be a heavier weight, while it has numerous advantages, as shown above. It is a ready to fly package, and the price is reasonable in my opinion. At any rate, you should check it out here on Hobbywow:
