Drone? I don't see any drone ... crap!
and I finally broke down and bought my first real RTF drone.
Some of you thought I would do this a little sooner, but the building bug was still in me and I just can't let it go. Eight (8) built and flying drones later, I jumped in to the RTF market and bought a hell of a drone!
I am now the proud owner of a Phantom 3 Standard!
Only 2.7k, but not enough people own 4k TV's or computer monitors to see the 4k masterpieces people are filming anyway! Most are still in Awesome 1080p !
I have always been trying to do film work with my drones, but never could reach the goal I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. The cameras were always my setback, I built a lot of fun drones, but those production cameras were just too expensive!
I wanted to build a super cheap Search and Rescue drone, that people could put in the air quickly. With them super cheap, there could be dozens in the air at the same time doing the same job! Finding people quickly and cheaply was always my #1 goal. If it was a hit, I could go on (and afford) to build my very own killer camera drone.
I know, I should have bought a Mavic Pro, but the price isn't where I want it to be yet either. It will be next, since I know I'll grow out of this P3S soon.
Well that's it for now, for those out there that said it would happen, you should feel pride in your predictions!
