This is a preview of the JJRC X1G Quadcopter, which is available on Hobbywow. It is a 5.8 Ghz FPV model. Get it here:

I gathered some information on this product, and here are it's main features:
- It has a feature where the motors can idle at 80-100 % throttle. This is advertised proudly, although I do not quite understand the use of this feature. As this quadcopter is a little geared towards racing, perhaps it is useful so that at the beginning of a drone race, the quadcopter can get up to full speed pitch right away without having to build up momentum, meaning a faster start right off the blocks.
- Triple speed rates are also available in this quadcopter. So, you can dial the pitch and yaw up or down as you like, depending on where you are flying (Indoors or outside), how much wind there is (High rates can fight wind more effectively), and what type of flying you are aiming to do (Low rate for smoother footage, high rates for sports flying and racing). Although most quadcopters have multiple speeds, a lot only have two, so this one gives the flier more versatility with three speed options.
- This product is more for a flier with previous quadcopter experience looking to get into FPV racing. It is not geared towards first timers, and so, it does not have one key return, headless mode, or altitude hold. So, it will force the pilot to learn how to fly without depending on these features, which is excellent in my opinion.
- The quadcopter comes with an above average battery. On just one and a half hour of charge, it can supply 15 minutes of flight time. The specs on the battery are that it is a 2 cell, 7.4 volt, 1300 mAh Lithium Polymer (Lipo) power source.
- This drone advertises automatic landing, so when the battery runs out, instead of dropping, it will slowly land itself. Then, it will power the propellers off by itself, which is great because the number one cause of burning out motors is when the propellers get stuck in grass after landing, yet continue to try to rotate, overheating the motor.
- This quad also looks really nice. It has a carbon fiber styled body, giving it a sleek look. The propellers and lights in the front and the back are both different, to help aid with orientation. The transmitter also looks good, with a blue trim finish on the buttons. From the aesthetic point of view, this product is definitely not lacking. It measures 34 cm long, and it is pretty lightweight, at just over a quarter of a kilogram.
- The transmitter comes with the FPV monitor. The screen looks smaller than normal, but it should be good enough. Whether or not the screen uses a rechargeable battery is not specified, but the controller does run off of 4 AA battery's. The advertised range is listed at 200 metres, which is great, especially compared to wifi FPV fliers.
- The camera is a 2 MP, 720p module. It is detachable and it sends the FPV via 5.8 GHZ to the monitor to avoid interference. Although 720p footage is called HD, it really isn't good enough for creating short films or for any sort of professional. That said, it should be more than enough for making home videos for your own enjoyment.
- Overall, I think the product is quite good at its niche. It is not recommended as an aerial video drone, beginners quad, or serious racing platform. However, if you are looking to star off in drone racing, this is a good, versatile, and relatively cheap option. It does come ready to fly, and I recommend you take a look at Hobbywow's listing:
