Ive bought a naza m light of ebay, I know, I know, its been upgraded to v2.
The trouble im having is, after down loading the v2 assistant and hook up my quad and calibrate the sticks turn of the program, un hook, and the motors work from the tx, then disconnect the battery and turn of the tx. Then when switch it all back on and bind it, the motors wont start up again, until I hook it up to the computer and calibrate the sticks again, is it something simple? or is it faulty.
Thanks in advance.
Martin.

Hi mate do you have the motors set to idle when arm , What do you mean bind it ? once its bound you should just turn on wait for the all green lights arm and fly

Hello holtniel, Its me again a complete beginner on mk2. I have the motors set in between recommended and slow. Do I have to bind the rx with the tx every time I turn it on then.
I have no props on yet just installed the naza m light just to try it out so no green lights as yet.
Regards Martin.

Hi Martin I take it your naza is on a home built quad not a phantom , not to worry the system is the same, are you using a receiver or naza as the receiver , Ok to start off fit bind plug and bind the transmitter once this is done turn every thing off, remove bind plug, you dont need that any more , the next part will depend on if you have GPS, If you have dont use GPS indoors, take it out side power up the transmitter first then power up the quad now the switch you are using for atti flick this fast on and off till you get a yellow LED ,Now pick up quad and rotate 360 degs till you get a green light now hold quad nose down turn 360 degs till the green goes out as soon as it does place quad on the floor ,Now led will flash green and red wait till you get 4 fast greens then goes to a slow green flash , This now has full GPS lock , now you can flick the switch for CL/HL to CL mode your now have a green and yellow led flash this is now in Course lock and ready to fly
Ok go into naza assist turn on IOC and put motors to middle setting , now to arm motors to fly pull both sticks down and you can push both into middle while down or away from each other while down , motors will now spin slowly ready to fly , watch this video on led light your have to watch a few times to get your head round the light ( basic if you have a red light flashing some thing is not set up) your have red flash when the battery warning come up but not till then

Thanks holtniel,
I am using a spectrum receiver, in my home built Quanum venture. I will give your advice a go when I get a chance.
Thanks for your help.

Regards Martin.
