Hubsan X4 - one propeller doesn't spin (at all)

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, and I just got a Hubsan X4 this past Christmas, and it's been working fine.

However, today, I tried it outside for the first time and it flew sideways into our garage door (the door was closed/down). I really didn't think it hit it that hard, but after that, one of the propellers (the left-front one) won't spin.

To be more clear, when I try to fly it, the other 3 props spin, but that one prop won't spin.

I've checked, and the propeller is spinning freely, i.e., not binding. I've also recalibrated (left stick to the lower right and toggle the right stick left-to-right quickly multiple times until the front lights blink), but still no joy.

What would you all suggest to try to diagnose (and fix) this problem next?

Thanks,
Jim

I've now got the same problem, after examining mine closely one of the tiny SMD 1608 LEDs has broken off the circuit board.

Have a close look to see if anything is missing or maybe a loose wire.

Hi mate the coreless motors dont like hard knocksIi had the first hubsan x4 years back and even landing on a hard floor could knock motors out , replace the motor they are very cheap , your need to solder it to the board
