Hubsan Q4 controls gone haywire

Hi there, got a Q4 for Xmas but found it difficult to master. Read about calibration and did as suggested. Control improved but still difficult to maintain height and direction. Read an additional suggestion to further calibrate by holding throttle in upper left and elevator in upper and then turning controller on and rolling both around 360. Did this but something went very wrong. Now the elevator stick has become the throttle while the throttle does nothing! Any ideas anyone?
 
Hi mate you changed it to mode 1 , do the stick setting again but roll sticks the other way round this should put it back to mode 2 , you may have to do it more than once as they can have 4 modes , just find mode 2
