Hubsan H501s won't take off

Hi all,

I wonder if you can help....

I have just bought a Hubsan h501s and its just not working.

Upon switching it on it asks to calibrate the horizontal and vertical GPS which I have done. The next part says to pull both sticks back to turn on the motors which works fine. The motors start running but at a very low rpm.

Nothing I do can make the motors spin up properly. If I increase the throttle, nothing happens. I can turn the motors off again by pulling back on both sticks.

I have read somewhere that if it has less than 6 satellites it won't take off, I have 12 available.
I have tried all combinations of the switches to no avail.

I just can't get it to do anything at all.

Also, everytime I unplug the battery and plug it back in again it needs re-calibrating. This will be annoying everytime I want a flight.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as its driving me mad!

I have the same problem. Paired up OK, horizontal and vertical gyro OK, view live feed, pull back both sticks and rotors start up.
No reaction to throttle up.
I tried either stick as throttle.
It is not clear to me which mode (1 or 2) it is in, although I set it to mode 2.
