How to repair this...?

Can someone provide some inside on how to fix the problems shown in the pictures?

1. I don't know how I would solder the battery wires back to the connector without damaging the insulation.

2. I could solder the two ends of the wire together, but the solder would be located at the hole in the plastic casing and I wouldn't be able to close it up again. I don't have much slack to play with in the wire and I'm not skilled enough to resolder all the wires to a new connector. Do I bring it to a pro?

If yes then you can solder the 2 wires back together and you will need heat shrink to protect it.

If you need heat shrink I have some.

Just strip a little of the insulation off that red wire that's still connected to the circuit board and solder the two ends back together.
Tuck all those wires back into the case and put a dab of glue over the (repair) solder connection for insulation. The solder won't be where
the hole is in the plastic casing, after all those wires are tucked into there better, because the grey insulation that covers ALL those wires
is supposed to be what the plastic casing is clamping onto NOT those loose wires. THAT's why the red wire broke in the first place.

For the battery connector you will need to remove some heat shrink tubing and insulation then resolder both of those connections and
re-shrink some tubing over them again. REMEMBER to slip the tubing over the wires BEFORE you solder the connections and keep it slid
as far away as you can down the wire, so that making the solder connections doesn't accidentally shrink the tubing before it's in place.

Thanks jmdlcar and Gyro!!! I don't know why I didn't consider that the grey shielding should be in the casing.

The whole thing crashed when I (think I) got too close to a cell phone tower. I lost control before the video went out, but then again I'm new to this and should have been flying closer.

IlKaffeelI Thank you, I try to help when I can. I'm need new I started when I retired I know a little. I have never flew any type of RC. Good luck.

I heard something about Cell Phone Tower that they over power 2.4 GHZ so don't fly to close to them. I'm not a 100% on that but I wouldn't take any chance on that.
