How To Get Access to the Material That is Applicable to One's Model?

I got a new Phantom 4. I downloaded the DJI GO 4 app to my mobile device. I hooked the device to the aircraft to download the latest firmware. No problem. Then I tried to fly it. I had been looking at videos on uTube and the DJI site. But looking at my manual, there are things that don't match the videos. For example, calibrating the compass. The videos show hoe to calibrate and shows how the app asks to do that. Problem is the Phantom 4 does not always need compass calibration. I chatted with a DJI technician who told me how to get to the compass calibration page in DJI GO if I wanted to calibrate it anyway. The manual says it need not be done unless a few things have happened.

Question: How to get videos and help that are applicable to ones drone, make, model, and version?

The DJI drones don't need the compass calibrated very often. Some drones need it done every flight because they have no non-volatile storage on board.

I've calibrated Sylvester twice, once when he was new, and once when I thought something was goofy, but it was just me and the spark new what it was about.
