I have bought a QAV 180 airframe, its weight is 85g (with PDB and hardware), 90g with included Landing Gear. It is designed around 4" props and 1806 size motors with 2300kv and up. And it is recommend to use 1000mah-1300mah 3s or 4s lipo battery. I don't how to chose a better lipo battery.
Is 1000mah 3s lipo battery better than 1300mah 4s lipo battery ? Or are there some other choices ?

Both 3s and 4s will work, 4s will provide higher speed and acceleration so it would be better to get a 3s if you're not very experienced with flying, it will also reduce the risk of of over heating some components. 90g seems extremely light.. My quadcopter is 1.6kg and 3s is plenty of power for it, obviously our motors and props are different but just putting into perspective.. And then there is a huge speed and power boost when I switch to my 4s lipo.

Ultimately I would recommended the 3s, unless you are an experienced pilot and want some more punch

First what rate are your ESC can they take a 4s battery, I started off with DYS 1806 ,
Apparently they can take 4s but the cheap red 20A Simon K on ebay can not take a 4s battery, so you are limited by your ESC . I would start off with a 1300 3s anyway as a 4s may have too much kick for a noob . If your esc can take 4s maybe but one of each so you can see the power difference. Don't just buy one if you can afford it. 6-8min air time a piece isn't long.
