Hobbyking tx (HKTR6) Battery Modification (any Tx)

This is a quick, but very use modification I did to my HKTR6A.

I put a Xt60 battery connector so I could power it off from a LiPo or LiFe battery. I made a cable to power my FPV and Tx from the same battery. Make sure you don't have batteries in when you have a LiPo connected, I just soldered my leads onto the PCB and left the AA battery holder connected. You can see over on the white two pin connector that says power
, I just soldered to the pins as they go in to the PCB. I cut out a hole the shape of my connector with a hot exact-o-knife. Then fitted the connector in and hot glued it in and then glued the joints to insulate them.

You may say that I could just use the power connector that comes in near the bottom, but it only works with the trainer. When connected to it it does not transmit for some reason. You still could hi-jack it if you really wanted to though.
