This looks like a very cool kit and it's under $100 USD - only $92 if you stay on the page for a few minutes and wait for the one time pop up discount offer.

With this kit, you can add a control board and tx/rx and have a build for well under $200. This looks like a great option for a first build and the frame is even ready for FPV if you want to add that now or later.

Yeah, this kit is a good value, especially with the FPV pan and tilt already there. I don't know how easy it would be to repair that single-piece frame if you lunched it though.

The frame itself is under $10, so it wouldn't matter. You'd just have to know how to rebuild it.

I think I'd buy another frame with the quad. Although you could probably transplant the parts to another frame with only a little more effort.
