Hexacopter and 6 channels

Hi,

I have built a hexacopter. It uses CC3D as a flight controller and I use a 6 channel receiver. Thats the same receiver I used for my previously built quadcopter. I also added a gimbal. I want to control the gimbal pitch with the transmitter pot-meter. I did this before with my quadcopter and with success.

But now when I want to do exactly the same for the hexacopter nothing happens. See attached files, I use channel 6 for the gimbal pitch control. But when I remove the wire for channel 6 in the receiver and connect the wire in channel 6 from the gimbal control board, I'am unable to arm the hexacopter. When I disconnect the gimbal wire and reattach the channel 6 wire to the flight controller the issue has solved.

Channel 1, 2, 3 and 4 are for throttle, pitch, yaw and roll, channel 5 is flight mode and channel 6 is accessory-0.

For me it seems channel 6 is available and should work like it did when I tried this for the quad.

Any ideas?

Thanks! I configured the remote and receiver during the CC3D setup without the accessories switches. And then I configured channel 6 in the remote. I guess when you configure these swithes during CC3D setup and after that you remove a wire the CC3D doesn't work any more.

Yes! :) google Jurriaan Kaatee and see my youtube channel. Still learning but you must recognize a learning curve :) todays videos are now online. Not really spectaculaire but practising :)

A nice start. I just subscribed to your channel :D

Are you getting jello, or is that youtube compression?

I think I have some jello (its no YouTube compression). But nice to improve this in the coming period! What is your definition of jello? Shaking video?

Do you have some tips? I think about:

- Double check the balanced props.
- Check frame vibration with earthquake app.
- Check vibration gimbal motors (I think it has some vibration) (I will test it when I hold the hex, without the 6 motors running)
- Check motor shafts (unbowed)
- Other props? Now I use: 1047.
- I already use gimbal anti-vibration rubbers and FC anti-vibration rubbers.

Like to hear your advice.
