Hello From Tennessee!

I've been building/flying/crashing helis for several years and always wanted a quad so I finally ordered one. I actually wanted a quad way back when I started but somehow ended up coming home from the LHS with a heli. Anyhow I'm pumped about my new machine including wrenching on it "if I crash".... JW

Welcome. What kind of quad? Feel free to post flight videos, we love those here.
I've ordered an Arris Explorer 280 PNP and a FrSky R-XSR receiver (Friday/Saturday delivery?) and will use an X9E radio I fly my helis with. "Murphy" tells me the FPV/quad will be a totally different animal but I'm ready for a new experience. I'm sure there will be somewhat of a learning curve and plenty of questions coming in the near future. Thanks JW

Glad to see you are going straight to the FPV racers and not boring aireal photography (not that there's anything wrong with that lol.)

I came over from flying line of sight helis too. I thought "I can do figure 8s in my backyard all day long, FPV should be easy compared to that, right?"

Wrong. There is a learning curve filled with fun and adrenaline!
