Anyone have any ideas for what might be wrong with my controller, I get limited range like no more than 20 sometimes up to 40 meters before I lose control and itgoes into return to home mode. also there is no satellite info for controller ther is supposed to be gps info for both controller and drone. lastly no follow me mode working. Ive updated firmware replace antenna etc to no avail.

Limited Range: Possibly Low batteries - would trigger RTH failsafe? Otherwise send Hubsan an Email - they are SUPER responsive!!
GPS: Can you upload images? Do you hear the beeps after calibrating where it's telling you it is still finding satellites?
Follow Me: Won't work when closer than 10 Meters to the drone due to interference but if the GPS isn't working this won't work regardless of distance.
Firmware updates: Just ensure you got it from a trusted site, many have reported downloading faulty firmware making the drone ... fly off "runaway drone"...
Did the drone ever work or is this out of the box or after firmware update issues?

I bought drone with standard controller it works fine but had few issues with lcd screen but drone flies great all functions including follow me work with standard remote. I bought new advanced remote from Gearbest, it came with some other firmware installed not the one reomended by Hubsan. I got the new firmware from Hubsan directly. New remote had issues from the start.

Ahh this makes more sense.
I'm wondering if it's still a firmware issue.. have you made sure the new Controller Firmware matches the Drones?
When you get to a place where you can - re install firmware for both, and link them here. As I have a h501s I will be able to push the same firmware on my advanced controller and drone - and we can move on from there. I'll be following these steps once you send me your links so you know exactly what i'll be doing (I haven't updated in a while, i'm sure this firmware is outdated by now)
and we can test further from there, have it fixed, or you can request a re-send of the controller if mine works and yours doesn't
