I've got a HK hquad frame set up, kk2hc, 30amp blue series esc's, and orange rx. My problem is all my reciever test settings are good but I'm getting no right stick control at all. Throttle and rudder seems fine but no pitch in any direction. Totally stumped :/

Hi mate OK we can start from the start , did you set up transmitter as aero No mixing of any type the KK does all the work , are all the servo leads the right way round on the board , the lighter colour wire is signal wire , test by going into monitor screen if all is ok in monitor screen have you got the motors plugged in to the right pins m1 = motor 1 ( all test should not have props fitted ) if you arm quad and give a little throttle till motors spin if you hold quad up off floor and give forward input the rear motors will speed up try and come back to me

Hi cheers, yeah transmitter set up OK. I removed the red and black wires on all but one ESC, and yeah all wires plugged in correctly. I'm getting the right signals in the kk2 receiver test. But no response at all to tilting the quad with throttle on and no forward/backward, left/right response at all either :/

Hi mate most of the time its the HK firmware I would flash with steveis1.8s1pro this code has a gyro bubble so as you move the quads you can see the gyros are working
Did you calibrate the KK on level ground ? did all the sensors come back ok ?

All sensors OK, just did a factory reset acc calibration and it has full controls and now responds to tipping the quad. I've heard sometimes the kk2 needs to be calibrated a few times before getting it. I'll go through the settings again tonight and also upgrade the kk2 firmware and see how if is. Thanks :)

Hi dont use the steveis 1.9 this is acro and really for the mini acro board the best one is steveis1.8s1pro

Hi mate the 1.9s1pro is for the acro mini KK , Glad you like the 1.8 he did a really nice job on it flies well on default setting
