OK.

SO. I got the FLYSKY version, bound it and got it set up for angle/horizon/airmode. All I use angle mode for is taking off and getting used to the craft, WHICH I HAVEN'T been able to do! It does not take off like my other quads, as in UP>(very little manipulation) HOVER. I have been TRYING to see what the problem is. I calibrated it, and use the stock settings in Betaflight it came preloaded with.

What it does is, I can best describe as it "wanders". Always the same way to the left and a bit backward. Kind of like one of my old Dromida's did before trimming. Well trimming from my FLYSKY Tx does not seem to help. It still does it. is it my fingers on the Tx but nope, been thinking it was noobery in the face of this wee powerhouse but no, I just did the 5th test and it does it when I throttle up to hover it begins this thing and I have to compensate. However the problem gets worse.

I was able to fly in airmode/acro and didn't notice any real problem, it might have been psychosomatic, but I felt a little compensation was needed (but I have to do that woth my other quads as I am still very much learning)

Thoughts? Update Betaflight to latest version? Change something?

I consider myself an (just) intermediate pilot at this point. So I don't think this is a question of experience in that regard, although it IS a question of experience I am certain. I have 2 other Quads, a 180 I built, and a JJPRO p200. I can "fly" them well enough FPV (which to me crashes happen less now, and I can fly without them generally speaking, unless I try doing something new...).

Hey FPV...............if this hobby don't drive you nutzo it's because you were nutzo to begin with. Luckily, I was already nutzo before I started..........so no problems.

Oh no problems there, I already arrived looong before I started FPV...

Well, I had a different kinda problem when I built my first quad. An S500(affectionately referred to as "Frankendrone"). When I would start to lift off it would twist to the right about 90deg. and then kinda flip over. I fought with that thing for over a month thinking something was wrong with my compass calibration. Turns out I wan't lifting fast enough to get out of the propwash from those 1045 props............I was really ready to throw in the towel...........as a last resort I held it over my head to see if I could "feel" what was happening. That's when I realized what was going on.............

The simple fact of the matter is that micro BL quads are inherently much harder to tune than your typical 220-250 size. If everything is operating correctly, you just need to do some pid tuning. For just some wandering, I'd suggest increasing or decreasing the I one or two points at a time and see if that helps

Update, it seems that the props went off too, and only 2 were spinning. Banggood is sending a new ESC. Hope this gets it going again.
