For those who wonder if you can learn to fly a drone on a sim, the majority of my stick time was in front of the computer and some LOS flights and this is the first extended FPV flight (two batteries worth) and I chose to fly in my front yard instead of the open air of the backyard to work on my alt control and moving around obstacles.

That's one of the big reasons I do not plan to go into the larger quads, that and I do not have to go to parks to fly. I can build all manner of tracks and courses in my yard with plenty of room to spare.

Yeah but there's something to be said about flying a 220 size 300 meters over scenic forested land that is just AWESOME! A tiny whoop with 25mW vtx just won't cut it but to each their own.

I'm thinking about getting this little guy for flying around the house and over the street in front:

The LDARC ET100. Comes with brushless motors and a 100mW vtx. Looks perfect for learning to fly in acro mode.

Nice!

This one caught my eye if/when I go brushless, the Arris x90
