I visited a lot of R/C sites regarding quads, and this one is by far the most informative and friendly. I'm a relatively new quad pilot, been at it for almost 2 years now. I have reached the point that I'm tired of replacing brushed motors ( I have 32 burned motors from my jjrc h8c, fun flier but eats motors UP! ) and I recently bought a JJRC X1 as an entry into brushless. As soon as I received it I saw how cheap the body was and was expecting the worst. I got it. I accidentally had both toggles in the 5:00 position during my 8th flight, and of course the quad spiralled into the ground from approximately 100'. Broke one front arm completely off the main body, a break so clean and even it looked like it was cut off . Using a product called Q-Bond I repaired the arm, and proceeded to beef up the body/arm joints. I've been flying it a lot since the repair and have no issues, but it's only a matter of time before my rig gives up the ghost.
I have a question for the pros out there; what would be a good frame to transfer the guts to? I'm not an FPV flier ( too prone to vertigo ), I'm not into videography, and am a BIG fan of quadmovr and Warthox, so speed and massive punch outs are my jelly roll . Sorry to be so long winded.
