FPV system compatability

Help please! I am currently building a quad for FPV. Not for video but to enjoy the flight experience while it's happening. My question is if a monitor that has a built-in diversity rx will be able to receive the signal from a non diversity AV tx? I already have a 8 channel AV tx and would like to use it if possible. I am lost when it comes to this stuff.
 
Hi mate answer should be yes, all diversity mean it will change Antena as it gets a better signal on the other one as its on the receiver end it should be ok < Bruce did a really cheap build for diversity
