FPV quad suggestions

Hey guys new to the forum and want to get started. I really like the hubsan h107d+ mainly because of the built in fpv screen on the tx I want to start with something 300 and under until I'm comfortable with going big. Are their any other options for me? Maybe a diy? Or a better rtf quad??
 
DIY is always an option, it allows you to prioritize what you want to pay more for, the starting price is around $250. Before I put much more into the post, are you still in need of this information, or have you already bought what you want?
