I have always wanted to try the FPV. I feel like it is just like a video game where you put on a goggles and race. It is kind of pricey and out of my league to be honest, but the experience is quite unique. I want to get some insights on the people who has actually tried it. I know it's amazing, but, does it have this nausea effect like the 3D goggles of the movies have? I never liked 3D movies... and I wouldn't consider buying an FPV if it has that very same effect visually. Also, would you need some extensive knowledge about electronics and all that stuff?
I'd say it's less nausea inducing than you'd expect when flying. I still make myself dizzy sometimes or my head bobbles around cause my brain is so much in the craft and no longer paying much attention to my body, it is a real out of body experience. First time with goggles on is disorienting and takes some getting used to but I think less nausea inducing than the movies because you are so focused on the flying eventually you start to "feel" what's happening with the quad more than what's happening to you (for example I hate the cold but once flying I completely forget about the cold until I land and then it sets back in again ). Really harder to watch someone else fly it's sort of like being the driver vs passenger in a car.
