Form 500 electronics swap

hi gang.. Thanks for having me.. Im by no means there yet but have a question... I have a helimax form 500 .. Is just swapping all the electronics over to a generic 500 frame doable ? Will it fly correct? As long as I can properly mount everything? Or is the more to it than that? I wasn't sure if the flight controller,esc's etc would have issues if doing so.. Thanks so much
 
Seems like a rather nice frame. Did you break it? You should be able to move the electronics to a different frame.

it should work, if it gets much lighter the PIDs might need very slightly adjusted for optimization. However you should be fine.
