flips in stable mode

Just got my first build together. Figured a kit would be a good bet for a first build so I got this kit:
https://www.besthobbymall.com/defau...-fiber-quadcopter-aircraft-frame-combo-1.html
I got both sets of motors and the naze32, which is really a flip32.
I have it in x configuration. On a 3 position switch I have angle mode on position 1 and horizon on position 3. Position 2 is nothing which is acro mode by default.
If I take off in either angle or horizon mode I will flip the opposite direction of my stick input. I can see it move the direction I send it but it then violently corrects/overcorrects and smashes into the ground. It will also do it with no stick input. I guessing that it due to not having trimmed it and the flip32 I trying to keep it level but violently flips.
Now here's the kicker, it flies fine in acro mode. It doesn't freak out at all, I'm just not good enough yet to fly acro exclusively.
Any ideas?

Hi mate that strange the nase 32 is a great board flys well on default setting , i think the problem may be in the transmitter setting check the profiles of the modes on the switch your using to control flight modes , some transmitters you can reverse servos on each flight profile as well as servo throw etc, also are you flying as a plane or heli ( if heli needs to be single servo no ccpm mix) but it better to set up as a plane

My TX does not have the option to reverse per switch location. I am setup in plane mode and I have mixing turn off. I have tried to do all my setup from the FC instead of some in each place. My TX is a Flysky FS-i6 and my RX is a Flysky FS-ia6. Like I said, it flies fine in acro mode but anytime the FC tries to help me, in angle or horizon mode, it sends me into a flip. Could I have got a bad Flip32? I also thought it could be my FC orientation but I have it correct according to all documentation that I have found. I appreciate your help and hope we can get this figured out, I'm banging my head against the wall right now.quadcopterforum.jpg

I just reset my TX back to factory, made my subtrim adjustments and I still have the same issues. I just put 2 batteries through it on acro mode, cost me a few props, but it flew as instructed anyhow. I think it has to be something in the board or perhaps my configuration in baseflight.

Hi mate has the FC have set up for each mode your flying in , sorry cant help much i never had this FCB ,but a lot of the guys who have this run
Harakiri firmware which is ment to be the best one
