Flight Controller stopped working

Hi, I really need help with this as it has been bugging me for a few weeks now, so any help is much appreciated.
I managed to build my quadcopter and it was all working until one of the antenna got chopped off and had to replace the reciever. After I replaced the reciever my flight controller(Naze 32) just shows a solid blue light and doesn't beep when its connected and I'm not able to flash it either as it says 'failed to open serial port', even when I use the boot loader pins.
Any ideas??
 
For starters there was no need to buy a new rx just because you chopped it.
Very easy repair or renew.
What else happened when you chopped the antenna. Was it working because it should have flown on one. I went through 7 naze32 in a few months, I said never again.
So fragile. You got a picture? Sound like something shorted. Or it could just be a case of you have changed USB lead to a non data cable.
