Flight controller decision

Hi everyone,

Maybe a difficult question, but I’m thinking about buying a new flight controller. At the moment I use CC3D from open pilot. I like the way how I can configure it with my pc. However I’m thinking about buying a Revolution flight controller from Open Pilot. Some notes:
  • I will use it in the future on my hexacopter (have to build it yet)
  • Goal is a stable quadcopter/hexacopter for slow flying and some heavy lifting when I install the gimbal and camera
  • I like the open pilot software, configuring it by pc would be great
  • GPS option
Before I spend my money, what are your experience with different flight controllers? And does anybody know the difference between Revolution Nano and Revo. Is this just the same board?

I know every flight controller has its own purpose, and there isn’t a number one flight controller. But just like PC’s (there are many options), my world is IT, and I can easily advice people which PC they have to buy for there needs.

Hope to hear from you, thanks!
