Hi, been flying for a couple of years now, Just found the forum, My loss. I have a DJI Phantom which I am really pleased with. Looking at FPV systems to fit now ,Any body experience of the phantom with the Fat Shark system.looking on EBay there are various Fatshark systems V2, V3 etc, can somebody please explain the difference and indeed is the Fatshark what I should be looking at.
Cheers

It's referring to the Predator (V2) vs the Teleporter (V3). The Teleporter is actually a cheaper entry level version, so the V3 vs V2 thing might be confusing. It's a newer model, but the resolution is not as good and it has a slightly smaller field of view.

There are also the dominators, which have the same display quality as the predators, but with a wider field of view.

I've only ever used Fatshark Dominators, so I don't know about other brands, but I can tell you that they are extremely popular as far as FPV Goggles go and you can't really go wrong with them. Also, don't expect to be too impressed with the image quality. Even when the signal is clear, it's like watching an old tube TV with poor reception. It takes some getting used to and you'll definitely be disappointed if you're expecting to see anything resembling HD through them. The technology is constantly improving though and there are some really cool things on the horizon, like Oculus Rift:
