first quadcopter build - compenents check!

I want to build my first quadcopter. I didn’t know anything about rc, so I gathered some info from the net. This is the list of components I came up with. I don’t have any tools, so transmitter, screw drivers, soldering kit and so on, are also on the list. I have two main questions:


1. Do the parts listed in the main parts sections fit together? E.g. Right kv for the motors, will the battery do the trick, … ?

2. Did I miss any other material or compenent that may come in handy?


Christmas holidays are coming, so I want to order soon . Looking forward to your suggestions.

Hi mate welcome to the forum , good list my friend , glad you got the flash tool your need to flash kk 2.1 with steveis 1.18s1 pro
With the motors i would go for the 10x4.5 or 10x4.7 props better is the carbon fibre
on the power board check the solder on the xt60 mine was bad
also get blue lock tight
the program card is good so you can make sure all esc are set up the same
I have never had prop guards ,if you snap a prop so be it ,better to snap that then the arm , on the 450 flame wheel its normally the arm that snaps so may be get 2 frames so you have spares
LEDs strips i use red rear white front it helps to see what way its facing if you go for the water proof ones they are really nice gives a nice finish to quad
The KK2.1.5 hard case is really nice as it will be on top of frame normally the hard case will protect it in a crash
