First Custom Quad Build

This is my first attempt at designing a quad. It's loosly based on the Danger Drone design by Bishop Fox. My intention is to use this as a general purpose flier and playing with some autonomous operation and eventually adding a gimble and camera.

Here is my parts list:
  • Hobbypower Pixhawk PX4 32Bit Flight Controller
  • Ublox NEO-M8N Flight Controller GPS with Protective Shell for PIX PX4 Pixhawk
  • Power Supply Module w/BEC APM2 2.5 APM Flight Controller ARDUPILOT MEGA APM2.6
  • BW® Glass Fiber Flight Controller Anti-vibration Damping Plate Shock Absorber Set
  • FrSky X8R 8/16CH Full Duplex Telemetry With New Antenna
  • 4Pcs Simonk 30AMP 30A SimonK Firmware Brushless ESC w/ 3A 5V BEC
  • RipaFire® F450 4-Axis Multi-Rotor Quadcopter Flame Airframe FrameWheel Rack Kit
  • FLOUREON 4S 14.8V 35C 5500mAh Lipo RC Battery with XT60 for RC Helicopter RC Airplane RC Hobby
  • T-Motor MN2213 950KV Brushless Motor & T9545 Self-locking Propeller Power Combo
I've calculated the weight to be about 1350g.

In addition, I'm considering:
  • C&T Telemetry Cable for FrSky Radios
  • YKS 3DR Radio Telemetry Kit 915Mhz Module Open Source for APM 2.6 2.8 Pixhawk RC Quadcopter
My questions are:
  1. Are the parts listed a reasonable complement for a first custom build?
  2. For the telemetry components, do they offer different value and are both needed?
Thanks in advance!!!

Bill

I've been doing more research and am struggling with choosing the right motor/prop combo. The ones above seem a little on the under powered side when I include a gimbal and camera.
