Hi Folks
Some years back I aquired some drone parts, Turnigy 2209-980 V2 motors, Plush 30A esc,s , Spektrum AR610C reciever and flight controller etc ?

So I just went and bought a 250 carbon fibre frame , the motors fit a treat but the ESC units are a bit cumbersome for the frame.
Are the 2209-980 (14 pole multi-rotor outrunner) a brushless motor, as I need to buy some 12A ESC,s that are physically more suited to the 250 frame that will match these motors.
Can anyone reccommend a suitable ESC for my needs,

The short answer is that the issue is with the frame. Those motors are made for props around 8", which is a little too big for that 250 frame.

Thanks for the info. I will probably get some smaller motors in the near future. I have some Plush 30A ESC units but I'm not sure if they are compatible with the mentioned motors ? A lot has changed in the last 5 years since I originally thought of building my own.
