It's just a kickstarter, and it's not for stunt flying, but it looks very promising.

*Edit - I just backed it for the early bird special. I hope it is successful. And hopefully they have a universal mount for non DJI stuff.

Parachute system is good for quadcopters. At least it prevents the quadcopter from crashing down.

Agreed! For most flying, it will be a great asset. For stunt flying where you might be doing some flips and barrel roles on purpose, it might be nice to have a chute you can deploy manually.

I wonder how hard it would be to make such a thing that manually deployed. You could easily mod theirs to do so. but to actually make it haha.

It would probably be pretty simple to set it up to be manually deployed if you modified theirs. To do your own might even not be that hard if you just copy their design.
