Erratic throttle

Good afternoon :)

I have just built my first Quad and all seemed great. I have come to a snag which I can't work out however. When I test my motors in Betaflight, they run perfectly and as expected. When I arm the Quad with my TX however they run really erratically with the motor speed indication bars jumping all over the place.

It seems to me that if there was a problem with my wiring or build then the problem would be there all of the time so I'm guessing that it's a TX/RX problem? I know the TX is Ok as I fly fixed wing stuff with it.....

Any help or ideas would be really appreciated.

If you don't have the props on, it is normal for it to freak out on the bench. That is the PID loop reacting to vibrations. Don't worry, that is normal.
