Seems Mr. Crankshaft wanted to clean the leaves out of his gutters without having to climb a ladder. So, he got and (had) built a (quadcopter) drone as the bright idea to do that. It worked for a while until he crashed it into a gutter. I never thought of using a quadcopter to do that. Now that's ingenuity with technology that's been getting a bad rap recently. Of course since he crashed it he is looking to replace it with a more resilient, military surplus model. I wonder if it will have the ability to "blow" the leaves out without using the rotor down wash. I guess we'll have to wait for the next chapter. Stay tuned...
 
Ed Crankshaft has given up on cleaning his gutters with his quadcopter. Now heis into a more productive use. He is using it to chase squirrels out of his bird feeder. Leave it to a guy who's anecdotes are always mis-quoted.
