Distance

Dear Members
I have a ZLRC SG906 drone. Since I bought it in September 2020, it won't fly past 50m or height of 30m and camera has a delay. I try to contact the seller Banggood but no luck. It should reach 1km and height 120m.

I am assuming that the drone was connected to the SG906 phone app. Yes?
If so, find out from your drone app whether it has options to adjust/control the distance and altitude the drone can go.
If it has, you should find them by opening the drone app > click Settings.

Yes I downloaded the HFun app. But does not allow any adjustments

From memory ( which isn't great) turn on the drone and controller then join the drone WiFi. Open the app and hit the bottom right which I think is start.then top left of the phone is I think a green settings icon push on that and you can set height to 120mts and distance to I think either 12 or1300 mts

Hey, I’ve seen similar issues with the SG906 before. From what you’re describing, it sounds like either a firmware limitation, a region setting, or possibly a hardware issue. Some drones are restricted by default to comply with local regulations, which can limit altitude and distance. Make sure your firmware is up to date and that the drone’s “Max Distance” or “Flight Limit” settings aren’t capped in the app.

The camera delay could also be related to the Wi-Fi connection or interference try flying in an open area with fewer obstacles and devices nearby. If none of that helps, unfortunately, since Banggood hasn’t responded, your best bet might be to check for community firmware updates or guides specific to unlocking the SG906, but do so carefully because unofficial firmware can void warranties or risk damage
