Dent in reciever

Hello my very good friends at the super awesome quadcopter forum! It's your buddy dugdog47 aka Stardogfpv with yet another simple question lol.

Will a dent in this silver part on a reciever cause range issues? This one never seems to get good range and now I've noticed it's dented lol. Probably banggood free shipping lol:

Believe these metal plates are just meant to help act as heatsink probably for the transistors used to amplify the signal (guessing pretty much completely though I know from messing with some toy amplifier circuits for audio the transistors can get hot and these are surface mount so needs some way to dissipate heat). Being dented it might have damaged one of the components under the heatsink, that said vtx issues are hard to pin down even with an oscilloscope hard to recreate the EMI made by the ESCs in flight
