CW and CCW motors. Why do I need those?

If by switching the cables on the esc can revers the rotation direction of a brushless motor, why are there CC and CCW motors?

This if for one of two reasons, your either talking about coreless DC motors or if about 3 phase motors used on hobby grade then the difference is the threads on the motor shaft if you use self tightening props.
 
Hi Guys also Emax does them CW and CCW as they come with self locking prop mounts, so you need the right motor and mount in the right place so the nut does not spin off
