Couple of questions...

So I recently bought a Syma X11 quadcopter, and have been having a lot of fun with it. However, one of the motors died after not very much use. I don't really have any interest right now in long range flight or video recording. I just want to fly them around small areas for fun. However, I don't want to be constantly replacing motors on a micro drone. Should I invest more money and buy something with brushless motors right now? Are there cheap quads that are more durable, or am I going to keep facing this problem unless I spend more money on something more durable?

Also, prior to buying the Syma X11, I ordered a Hubsan X4. I was disappointed to find that the seller misrepresented the product and a knockoff was delivered to me. I got my money back without having to return the quad, so I kept it and flew it around. It was hard to control, so I crashed it hard and broke it. My question is, do these small quads have interchangeable motors? Can I remove a good motor from the knockoff Hubsan and put it in the Syma X11?

Hi mate most micro quads use the same coreless motors , Yes it true they dont last long the motors from the hubsan clone should work ok , I hope you can solder very fine wires
I would really look into a bigger size quad with brushless motors , you can always have the fun and build your own , and the pride your feel when you fly it
