Connectivity issue

Hi everyone, I have an Aovo Wolvy Pro that connects to my Iphone and transmitter just fine but when it gets a considerable distance away the camera freezes up and I get the message that it's lost connection. It won't RTH since it's lost connection. Any ideas why this is happening?

I can't answer the question of why it won't RTH.
However, your drone has features like out of range alarm, low power alarm.
If you acted on the alarm and hit the RTH before the drone was actually out of range, maybe you would not have lost camera connection. Furthermore, when your drone is out of range, your controller will also lose connection with the drone. Maybe that's why your RTH wouldn't work?
One thing that puzzles me. A drone with GPS usually has the Auto Return Home feature when it goes out of range. Do I read your post correctly that it did not auto return when out of range?

Thanks for the reply David. I'm going to go out as soon as the weather clears and try this again to see if it will return to home automatically. Once the camera freezes up and I can't see where I'm at I kind of freak out. I'm new to drones and maybe I'm just exceeding the limits. I'll let you know what I figure out.
