I picked up a new in the box IdeaFly IFLY 4S Quad "Kit" from Hobby People (who just folded their tents) for $100 with motors, ESC's, FC, basically an ARF minus LiPO and TX/RX. This is the last version of the IFLY 4S (a 550 size) which has the newer C6W Flight Controller (not the problem plagued C4E FC), but the kit does not include the "IdeaFly" branded combo "saucer shaped" GPS w/ Compass module, mounting stick etc.
IdeaFly must be out of business too - no listing of parts, no one ever responds to Emails and none of their very few dealers even in China have any parts, especially the GPS/Compass module I need.
I seriously doubt that IdeaFly made their own FC and it suspiciously looks a lot like a NAZA-M with more ports though (see pics http://www.hobbypeople.net/media/ca...f78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/1/116414.jpg) and also the
MINI APM PRO Flight Controller
Does anyone know if the IdeaFly C6W is a NAZA or if other brand and who's GPS/Compass will work with it?? The IdeaFly GPS/Compass does use a 2 separate connector lead to the FC which to me looks like the Ublox NEO-M8N GPS Module with Compass for APM2.6 APM2.8 PixhawkFC, but I don't want to "experiment".
Also, any feedback on the IdeaFly C6W FC? Good or Bad? Maybe just replace it with another that comes with the GPS/Compass? And which one that is economical (I'm cheap and this is a "hobby" quad I've building for photography only.
